D&A Cleaners

I went there for alterations worst place ever. I was given a date to pick up my clothing, and the work was not done My clothing was not at the location either. The following week I got a Phone call to pick up that following Saturday went there to pick up my clothing and it was not at the Destrehan location. I kept getting told that I needed to speak to the Owner, but the owner was never there and never answered whenever I called. I really felt like I was getting the run around. I paid for the work in advance, and will never ever do that again. I’m just so upset because I wasn’t offered an apology, discount or money back for my time or trouble. I will never use this business again.

Never ever had a problem in 10 years of going there. My clothes are done perfectly everytime!

I used this dry cleaner twice for my dress shirts and both times my shirts had buttons missing after I picked them up. I've never had this problem at another dry cleaners.

Under new owners/management, but service is worse. I requested no starch and no crease. My pants had both. The jeans were not dry-cleaned. They still had knee prints from when worn. Crisp white blouses returned dingy. I called to express dissatisfaction with service, but there was no return call. I will NEVER return there. Previously, I had a comforter cleaned but had to return to have it redone, bc it was not cleaned. I gave them another try this last time but that’s it! Stay clear. They are not professionals, don’t know what they’re doing, and don’t care. 😤👎🏾

I decided to try D&A cleaners since our cleaners closed on Hwy 90. I brought 2 of my husband’s suits, a couple of his shirts and a jacket I had made. They ruined both of my husband’s suits. They both look like they had been put in the wash, dried then ironed. One I’m hoping can be saved. The other brand new suit from Jeff’s Haberdashery is ruined, completely shrunk. I will be going back to this cleaners to get this resolved.

I had a great experience here. I got the 10% off for 30shirts and dropped off a suit for alterations. This being the first suit i ever altered i didnt know what to expect but the lady who alter my suit was perfect!! I needed the bottom of the jacket hemmed, the pants hemmed, the sleeves shortened, and the sides takes in. the woman spent very much time with me and gave me suggestions on what might look the best for my vody type. She was very helpful and kind. After thr suit eas finished i tried it on and nothing needed to be fixed. It was measured pinned and worked on great and looks great enough. Thanks a lot. Best dry cleaners ever i have used in my 10 years. BEST SERVICE!!!!

Best Cleaners in town! I went to many different Cleaners before but, D&A Cleaners is the best one I found! Very professional dry cleaning service and shirts laundry. They also have very friendly staffs. They always greet me with smile. I'm very satisfied with the service. I would recommend D&A Cleaners to everyone!

I highly recommend D & A Cleaners, Daulema was absolutely wonderful & every staff member I met greeted me with a smile. I had my daughters wedding dress cleaned & boxed for keepsake! They did a excellent job!

I started using D&A about 6 months ago after moving to Destrehan. In total I've been there 4 times. Last month I brought some dress shirts and pants to have cleaned and pressed for a business meeting in another state. When I dropped everything off, I mentioned that there was a pair of dress pants that needed to be hemmed on one pant leg. The girl put a clothes pin on it and told me it would be done. A few days later I picked up the clothes and packed for my trip. Once arriving at the hotel I pulled out the pants and started to get dressed. I then noticed that the pants weren't hemmed. Well...these things happen. They forgot and I didn't check. Lesson learned. Last week I brought the pants back and explained the situation. The owner made it sound like she understood. When I picked the pants up today, I saw that I was being charged again. After attempting to explain that I had already paid for the service, she started getting defensive and showing that there wasn't evidence of me being there before. $13 won't break me either way but it was a point. Come to find out, it should've only been $6 bc it was only one side of the pants. All of a sudden it was like she didn't speak english anymore. She just stood there and wanted my money (cash only btw...which is shady in itself). I've maybe spent $160 total there ($26 of which for a $6 dollar job). My advice to anyone reading this is keep all of your receipts! Before and after! And make sure they enter your info into the system correctly EACH TIME!
