Staff is extremely rude and many machines were out of order. Would rather hand wash clothes in a sink and hang them out to dry then overpay to use this facility. Find another facility that cares about their customers.
Typical old school laundromat. Nothing special but very clean and dryers are $.25/6 minutes which is a bit ridiculous considering how much it is to wash. Will not be returning.
This place is really dirty and old. Several machines were out of repair. There was a thick layer of dust and debris on top of the dryers, and the floor was gross. And there is no seating besides broken down old chairs.
Decent price but I work on computer and can not use public WiFi. Whenever I am in here my computer can not connect to my hotspot
I was there at 7:00AM to wash a comforter. One other person was there. The place was clean and there were two washers out of service for repair. I relaxed playing word games on my phone while I waited. Pleasant experience overall.
Found this laundromat much closer to my place and hoped I could start going here instead of driving up to Laundry World on Geneva Rd. Unfortunately, it doesn't have anything except that convenience going for it in my case. As another review mentioned, the dryers don't work. They cost 25 cents for 9 minutes, going by the counter on the machine. Even using the high heat setting, it seems like this doesn't give the dryer enough time to get hot and actually do its job. After spending $1.25 going through multiple drying cycles, my clothes still felt damp. And that came after spending 50 cents to try to get a longer drying cycle, which didn't seem to work. Also, I found the size of the shiny, nice-looking $4 washers at the front deceptive. They have wide doors, but VERY shallow drums. I couldn't even fit a simple 70 liter rolling hamper worth of laundry into one of them. If you have more than a week or two of laundry to do, you'll need to use the "Super/Mega Wash" machines at the back, which they only have 6 of total. These same machines cost less at Laundry World. One other personal frustration: I came in on a Thursday evening after work and found nobody using those bigger machines at the time. At some point during my wash, though, a rush of people came in and all of them wanted to use those machines, causing an annoying traffic jam at the back. I had to kinda awkwardly push my cart through a bunch of people just standing around with seemingly no awareness of anything happening around them to get my laundry out. Oh yeah, the broken coffee and snack machines at the front of the place really added a strong layer of depression to the place for me, along with the 8 missing floor tiles by the dryers on one side, leaving a shallow hole of bare cement to trip on. At least the pop machine seemed well stocked and has cheap prices, despite the limited selection. I'd rather not go back unless things got truly desperate. 😕
Like everyone has already said, the place is clean and the owners are awesome. You can tell how much they love having their business and that it’s not just a job.
Well I'm working in the area and decided to wash some clothes in between shifts. I was a little iffy at first to come in but i decided to anyway. The owner is a very affectionate & sweet lady. Her customer service is outstanding. Variety of size washers and dryers. The cheapest wash is $2.50 for 34 minutes. Very clean and tidy business. I recommend this laundromat!
This is the best laundromat I have visited in Wheaton! The facility was clean, organized, accessible and friendly! They have all sizes of washers and dryers, all very affordable! The manager or owner, I'm not sure which, walked around and offered help to everyone. She saw me fussing with some large comforters and offered to help me get the into the best dryer. She even voluntarily refunded a couple quarters so I could get everything into the perfect dryer. I can't wait till I have another load of large things to wash! I will definitely be back!
My favorite place to go for the services they provide. I use the machines and I use the laundry service. I also use the dry cleaning and tailor service. The dry clean is shipped out so it takes a couple of days ( so plan ahead) the light starch request is always perfect! The laundry service is very quick, Everything folded and packaged professionally! Don't hesitate to use this fine family business who are most genuine in their concern for the customer. John W.
