Ray's Laundromat

Love this laundry mat. ATM (cheapest in town if a real thing here) inside, can exchange either dollar coins or even convert to quarters here. Guy in charge is super awesome and if you have any issues whatsoever he will handle them faster than you could unload a washer! Well lit parking lot in front and plenty of parking even when busy. Ramps to both front doors. Bathroom in the back would be hard if you need room (however there’s a circle k literally across woodford from the parking lot) Cannot start washers after 8pm so they are able to get everyone done on time. PS they start mopping for the night at 8:30pm—— if coming late, start loads on the right side of the laundry mat cuz he starts on the left ;)

This is a really nice place! I love that it has everything you need & the people here are friendly. I’ll be coming here more often when I need to do my laundry. I hate living in an apartment where everyone shares the same laundry room, so it gets very filthy… This place has reasonably good prices & fast machines!

Ray is a wonderful man and keeps his laundry mat pristine! Machines and dryers are always working and spotless, there’s always change in the change machine and the bathroom is always clean and available as well! Thank you for helping us get our laundry clean while in town Ray, we will miss you!

This laundromat is worth all 5 stars. I am in Decatur on work and I come here 2 to 3 times a week. Every night I have been here they are cleaning the area. There is no unpleasant small and all the machines appear to be maintained and match. They have some high efficiency , 30 lb, 40 lb, and the monstrous 80 lb washers with varying prices based on size. The dryers go from 30, 55, and a larger model. There is a change machine that gives dollar coins back which saves a lot of time when paying the bill with the added bonus of having the unique coin. I have become a laundromat coneseur since traveling and this one is the best.

I have not had to use a laundromat in many years thankfully, but after a very busy winter sports season, we found ourselves with more laundry than we knew what to do with. I asked for recommendations on Facebook and read reviews and figured I'd give Ray's A try. I can't compare pricing to other laundromats as this is the only one I've used locally but most people I've talked to said that they are one of the cheaper options. The owner was there while we were there and was actively picking up and sweeping and maintaining the machines which was good to see. The clientele were very friendly and overall a pretty decent experience. We wound up using the extra large machine, one of the medium machines and then one of the smaller machines and all of them cleaned our clothes pretty well (We have a lab so I expect dog hair to remain after washing, it's just normal for us).

Ray is the most generous helpful man ever. My family and I have been coming here for 5 years and will never go anywhere else. It's always spotless, a wonderful atmosphere, and so super inviting to do your laundry. Also if you ever have questions Ray is more than willing to help

Met the owner today and he gave my daughter two suckers after asking if it was okay. He’s a very kind man. As for the laundromat itself, it’s a very nice place. I love coming here cause of the extra large washers and dryers. It’s very nice to just come and do one or two loads and be done with in 2-3hrs instead of being here all day. It’s also very close to our apartment complex and worth the short drive here.

We have visited this location twice now and have had great experiences each time! There are multiple sized washers and dryers to suit anyone's needs. Most affordable laundromat in Decatur & Forsyth!!! The washers and dryers are very clean, and the store is kept in immaculate shape. We met the owner Ray tonight and quite enjoyed his company. I highly recommend this place.

One of the best Laundromats I've been to. The owners are polite and keep the place as clean as possible.

Ray's is the cleanest and most well-maintained laundromat I've ever visited. I go there at least once a month to do larger items, especially bedding, and everything comes out clean and fresh. Plus, Ray and his family members are so kind and great to talk to.
