CD One Price Cleaners

Cheap! But for a price! Don’t submit your favorite items here. They’ll dry clean them, but my clothes came back linty with fabric and hair all over them. I also purchased pressed shirts but they were quite wrinkly with some hard creases I had to work out. Some of the pieces seemed like they got dirty rubbing on something. A few marks I haven’t been able to get fully out yet, unfortunately. Overall definitely good prices but in my opinion not worth it.

CD one price cleaners are great! And I’m sure other locations are good too but I am specifically talking about this location. My husband and I have been coming here for years!. And continue to come to this location even after moving and having 2 other CD one price cleaners that are closer to our house- because absolutely everyone who works here is incredible!. They’re all kind, friendly, knowledgeable, go above and beyond, and do outstanding work. Everything is always on time and they have even been able to take quite large amounts of clothes to dry clean- while still having a quick turn around. Five stars across the board!

I do not recommend them for rug cleaning. I was charged $80 for a 5x7 flatweave. It came back looking exactly the same — even the one glitter was still there! — with an unpleasant odor. Now I’m out $80 and my rug smells.

They were not sure they could get the bubbles out of my suit jacket, and told me when I gave it in. They did. And they were efficient And they were affordable And they were professional And they were courteous. And when I told my mom, who lives there, she said "of course "

Showed up after 5 like I was asked for a wash and fold. Showed up at 530. They had no clue where my clothes were. They found it. Said it was not ready yet, they took a phone call while talking to me. I was speaking with the lady and she walked away from me and kept talking on the phone. She told me from across the room to come back in 30 minutes or before 7. I drove off and got a phone call from her 5 minutes later saying it’s done. (What was the point of telling me to leave and come back in 30?) They have no clue how to provide simple customer service and care. I didn’t ask for much. I’ve been going to CDone cleaners all over the place and this was my first and last time at this location. Not a single “sorry” or acknowledgment of the disregard and inconvenience. And as I’m typing this they just sent a “your order is ready for pickup” text. Completely unorganized leaving me to never feel confident to drop off anything here ever again.

The cleaners are conveniently located with open street parking on Devon just west of McCormick in Lincolnwood. An 8:30 drop off took a couple of minutes and the garments were ready for a pickup after 5:00.The items were returned quickly and verified, they looked great and were bagged and hung properly. The cost for quite a few items was pretty low. Six or seven slacks, two suits and a shirt for around $50.

They Destroyed my Brand New Designer Linen Pants! My pants were White when dropped off for cleaning, asked for spot removal on one tiny spot, and they returned it back to me totally yellow, and burnt a hole through the Fabric! Linen pants are supposed to last for several years, as the material is durable and super strong! When took them out of the package, this is how they gave them to me, that is totally unacceptable, and the person cleaning these pants should be Fired! But also, 6 months ago I was in Fl, and started to see little holes on 2 pairs of my white Designer pants that turned into bigger holes, and I had to throw them out. Now I'm possible 100% that this Dry Cleaners is also responsible for destroying the fabrics, by using chemicals that made the Fabrics soft to the point of breaking! Awful! Stay away, at least you have been warned, that with repeated dry cleaning here, it will either destroy your clothes over time, or have something like the above that happened to me. I am guessing this is the location that these pants were worked on, as Des Plaines CD transferred them to another location

Never coming back again, even asked them to take my info out of their system. This is the third time in a row that I have been lied to about how soon my item would be ready. I even called to ask about same day pick up before I dropped it off and they promised me each time it would be. Third time in a row? No thanks. I'll pay extra somewhere else that doesn't make promises they can't keep.

The customers need to check up on their stuff before leaving their shop. I pick up my comforter and find it gets burned and some black sticks on it. But they ignore them and do not respond. The first Tim they did it on my other comforter. I did tell them and give up so they know how to purchase from a customer but they don't care what they do or respond to the stuff of customers

Love CD Cleaners (on Devon & McCormick) They make it easy and quick to drop off and pick up your clothes the next day! They do a good job with a smile! I love this location except the Parking at times.
