Ruby Coin Laundry

This is my 2nd time coming here and was told they were closed despite all of the bright colotful lights displaying 24/7.??? No signs or notes on door explaining why they wete closed but there wete people inside doing LAUNDRY.

Whatever you do, DO NOT COME HERE. Me and my roommate came here starting a couple weeks ago because our apartment had terrible laundry units and the first thing we noticed were the prices...Holy cow. It ranges from $2 to $8 depending on size of load and I will tell you, two people with one weeks worth of laundry required the $5.50 size machines so beware if you are doing any more laundry than that. Additionally, while the dryers are only 25 cents, they are extremely poor at drying clothes let alone any TOWELS so you'll need to put them in at least three times to get anything dry. Not to mention the fact that while the dryers say they need to be de-linted daily, I can tell you they hardly ever are. I had made a habit of cleaning them out myself if I was to have any hope of it drying my clothes and they are always caked so a definite fire hazzard. Fine, I can deal with that. However, the cherry on top is the management. I tried to use the ATM on sight to pull out some cash to get more coins and I have no words for how disrespectful and disgusting the response was when the ATM machine held my card and I needed help to get it out with hardly half an inch to pull from. Obviously the machine had broken and I was it's first victim of the day. Unfortunate, but whatever, I can deal with it and ask for help. At least that's what I thought. The lady inside the laundry sight tried her best to help but ultimately said I'd have to go into the connecting gas station to ask for more help. Immediately upon asking this man for help he said there was a lady inside to help me. Once I said she was the one that had sent me over for more help, he INSISTED that she'd be able to help...HELLO?? What wasn't clicking. After finally agreeing to come and help, he spends not even two minutes on it before deciding he can't do anything. He then says his manager will be in at 1pm (mind you it was still 10:30am and I had work at 1:30pm). He insisted he "did not have the management numbers," which he later admitted to having, and said there was nothing he could do while walking away from me as I was trying to talk to him. He went back to the gas station and I followed a minute later because he told me to leave it in there or wait..WHO IN THE WORLD LEAVES THEIR DEBIT CARD STUCK IN AN ATM MACHINE IN A COIN LAUNDRY. As I walked in, he looked visibly irritated and it took pulling my phone out to call the police before finally calling management for help. Luckily, another man there for other repairs heard everything and came over with a pair of pliers and napkins and was able to get my card out. I was already fed up with this place but after an already terrible morning, this man did nothing to help even though he had all the ability to do so. Overall, a terrible experience here even after multiple chances so as I said originally DO NOT COME HERE.

Only laundromat open 24 hours in the area that I know of. There isn't an attendant there overnight but if you need anything the worker at the gas station next to it can help you out. Sometimes not always very clean. Prices are comparable to other laundromats.

This place does not deserve 1 star due to poor customer service they have. I understand machines break and they don’t work but that does not mean you SCAM PEOPLE’S MONEY! I went to wash and dry my clothes around 9pm. After my clothes finished washing of course I went to put them in the dryer. I used 6 dryers in total, I put my coins in the machines and hit start. Then I see that one of the dryers was not working however the time was being counted so it was to late to get my money back. There was no attendee but there is a clear sign written poorly by hand saying if you need anything go to the gas station I went over there explained my situation and he said he couldn’t do anything about it or give me a refund. Then why put a sign saying if you need anything go over there if you cannot help? Then, I see a person going into the little office they have and I told him my situation. He said “okay just put your clothes into a different dryer I will be back with your coins”. I waited for 1 hour he didn’t come back instead he disappeared. They just lied to my face and left me feeling betrayed. Ruby coin laundry you need to do a better job with communication, need to display if machines are out of order in a proper manner and take responsibility. This is a 24 hour laundromat you should be doing a better job running the business Ruby. I don’t recommend coming here, your clothes will not be washed throughly and the washer have a bacterial glaze inside the washer windows it’s visible. Not so clean and not advisable during a pandemic. People go to wash clothes to get rid of bacteria but how when the machines are filthy. And most importantly, they take your money and at the end they say they can’t help you or do anything about it. Dekalb county should stop by and check if they are following proper guidelines with cleanliness. Also, after some research I have come to find that this laundromat along with the gas station belongs to the same person. Why isn’t there any authorization or ownership when there are problems with the customers? There’s no way a business can be left unattended. Someone is always there to take care of a problematic situation somehow, someway. If there were to be an emergency at that laundromat who would take charge right away? From what I have witnessed no one. Something should be done with the poor management, dishonesty, and greediness of this establishment. I will report this to the county and take further action. A google review is just not enough.

24 hour coin laundromat with regular, large, extra large, and one super extra large machine which holds 8 loads. A 2 load machine costs $2. 3 load machine costs $3 and so on. So it's basically $1 per load based on machine capacity except for the 5 load machine which cost $5.50 for some reason. Dryers are all big and hot and cost 25¢/ 6 or 7 mins. The facility is reasonably clean. 2 big screen tvs play mostly latin channels or are turned off completely (especially over night). Public restrooms are closed and locked over night but you can use the one at the gas station next door. Free WiFi with an easily obtained password. Also they offer dropping your laundry off to have it cleaned for you, charged by the pound but not sure about the cost

24/7 laundromat!!! Quality wash and fold service. The women in there are really good with the wash and fold so try to get the schedule of when the women are working. Everyone is good overall though. One of the cleanest laundromats and great pricing on their washers and dryers!! Tv entertainment and massage chair. Conveniently next to gas station for snacks and also Kroger next door. Definitely Recommended. FREE WIFI password on the counter of register!!

It's always packed & the people who come here to wash are so rude they act if no one ever taught them any manners. Also there's a creepy old guy that works at night who likes to try and control your machine settings or will move your clothes and you not be able to find them seems like every time I look up his right there . I have to tell him not to touch my clothes . I've been coming here since 07 and I only come sometimes since there 24 hrs but beware of the rude people and not being able to get a washer or dryer or they hold the carts . REALLY ANNOYING!!! Brookhaven laundry is way BETTER then here .

Have been coming here every week since open. Great place to do laundry. But has gone down hill horrible floor super dirty the whole place is sticky trash everywhere is bad bad hope they can get workers in here and clean this place up or I’ll just have take my money somewhere else!

This place is close to home, open 24 hours, is maintained fairly well, and easy to use. I can come in late night/early morning to avoid the rush and the allergy aggravating smell of other soaps and softeners.

Easy and fast self service. I love the part how they have the coin dispensing machine that way I don’t have to worry where will I find roll of quarters. Just take cash with you and you can trade it in there. Easy and simple process.
