Carriage Cleaners

I’ve gone to Carriage Cleaners since moving to Cumming in 2017–they’ve never disappointed! My clothes were always cleaned to perfection and were done on time. The people/staff there are always very courteous and friendly.

After using Carriage Cleaners for over 15 years, I will be taking my business elsewhere. I took my husband's sport coat into be cleaned the day after he spilled coffee with cream on it. I told the owner what the stain was so he would know how to treat it. When I went to pick up the jacket, unbeknowst to me, the stain was still there. He did not tell me that so I paid him for the "cleaning". When I got home, however, and looked at the jacket and saw the stain was still there, I took the jacket back to ask if he could try again to get the stain out. He yelled at me and said the stain was old! It was less that 24 hours old when I gave him the jacket. When I questioned if he could do more, he continued to yell at me and glare at me over his mask. Since he was so rude and had not cleaned the jacket, I asked for a refund. He yelled at me more and would not give me one. I am apalled at the treatment I recieved! I have given him a lot of business over the years but going forward, I will take my cleaning elsewhere.

I have used Carriage Cleaners for over 20 something years and typically I am happy with the results. Sometimes I see stains but I don’t make a big fuss and when they lost my husband’s golf pants a few years ago they gave me a credit instead of offering to reimburse but I dealt with it. A few months ago they lost a brand new Adidas Golf pants and this time I told him he had to pay for it. The pants costed $75 but I told him $60 he literally threw the money on the counter. Fast forward ( because I don’t embrace change ) I am a weekly customer and because of that I get a standing 10% discount when I pay. So today when I picked up my cloths and asked about my discount the owner rudely told me he would no longer offer me a discount moving forward because he found my pants ( a customer returned it after one month ) however I purchased a replacement the same day he gave me the money. So after 20 plus years I am taking my business elsewhere. He decided to stop my discounts because he reimbursed me money for pants he misplaced. My whole family patronized his business as well as friends. Well no more. I AM DONE !!!!! My bill a week was anywhere from $25 - $110 on a weekly basis for years and years. He is rude, obnoxious and yells at customers ( who does that ??? )

I have used them for the past 7 years. Recently something changed. The previous time when I picked up my clothes some were clean, some still untouched. This time the pants ironing was a disaster, the lines were uneven and very badly done. Everytime I let them know and they just ignored me. Will not be back.

I guess family owed means, they can treat you however they want. This cleaner did average work. Not exceptional, but not terrible. They stained one of my shirts when they washed it. They redid it, it didn’t come out then, but did after a few washes. Shortly after, I had a tshirt that they stretched out the collar. The shirt was ruined so I requested my money back that I paid for the shirt. To the credit of the daughter Jamie (who was always nice, fair, and respectful) said she would give me a refund. The father gave me a refund. When I returned a few days later the father refused to take my clothes, “I don’t want to clean your clothes anymore.”

We have been using this dry cleaner for over 12 years now. They are remarkable. They do it right the first time. We have never been dissatisfied with the quality of work or politeness in greeting my wife by name. If anyone in the area of Bethelview and highway 9 needs a professional pressing and shirt laundry 🧺 (with starch)this is the place. They also do comforters and bedspreads. A little pricy on those but also do an excellent job. I don’t know why it’s taken me so long to review this establishment? Located across the street from McDonald’s.

This is a great cleaner. They are fast. The prices are reasonable. They have never damaged any items of clothing left in their care. That alone makes them worth visiting as I have had bad luck with other cleaners in the area.

They have a good service and staff. I have been using them for about 8 months now and will continue to because of their pricing and proximity. Note** They only have one machine to press shirts and therefore it is difficult to have your shirts machine pressed WITHOUT starch. If they had 2 machines they could use one for starch and one for no starch. The residual starch from other shirts pressed with starch gets on the ones that are supposed to be without starch. So, I have had them hand-pressing all my shirts and no longer machine pressing them. This is more costly but they do a good job.

Best dry cleaners I have ever used. courteous and detail oriented, and the nicest people. I have used them for years now, and my clothes are clean, pressed and always ready when promised.

This is a laundromat open 7 days a week. They also have per pound laundry service cheap! So happy not to spend my day off doing laundry. Same day pick up!
