Customer service at front desk is excellent, especially Patricia in the mornings. She always marks spots with tape. She is always friendly and efficient. I must say, however, the quality of cleaning is not always excellent. Sometimes spots are not cleaned and a spot slip isn't even added to the hanger. On my profile, I ask for a center crease ALWAYS on all of my pants. Many times the pants are not center creased. Sometimes ‘within the same order;’ example, 4 pants on the order and 2 may be creased, and 2 are not! (I’ve seen an improvement over these mistakes within last few months, but I came very close to changing stores.
I went to pick up my dress for a wedding. They said the dress was ruined. I never saw the dress. They did not call me to tell me and I had to scramble the night before the wedding. They did not to warn me ahead even though I gave them an extra 5 days. Very expensive, one of a kind dress for a special event.
Can't get their hours right. Looks like another review says they're closed too. You'd think it would be such a simple effort to update customers of new hours, especially for pickup, but no. An email would have been great, or better yet update the hours on this listing. Instead the only thing they've updated is a wonky piece of paper on their doorframe
All guests please be on the lookout. I've been using this Tide store for a long time at Hampden. But one day my wife's white skirt came back grey and I asked for them to clean it again. The staff couldn’t clean it and the skirt was still grey so they gave me the manager’s phone number and email so that I could get compensation credit as the staff themselves couldn’t directly compensate me in that moment. They held onto my wife’s skirt in the meantime. However, when I reached out, there was no reply from the phone number or email and I kept getting a different contact on each visit. For two months, I never could get a response from the manager. But when I visited recently to try and talk to him myself, I found out that the owner had changed. Because of this, I couldn't get any compensation and my wife's $130 skirt they were holding onto just disappeared. Basically, they were selling the store to this new owner, so they tricked me about the compensation without giving me any contact or response early on and by taking away the skirt. This store is the same owner as that store at Hampden where this incident happened. Please go to other stores if you want to clean your clothes because this might happen to you too.
Cleaners lost my really nice pair of leather pants. I called back the same day (Saturday) to let them know. They told me they would follow up with me by Tuesday of the following week. They did not. I had to call the store back and check in. They still had not found it, so they had to call their warehouse and driver to see if they had it and they said they would follow up with me by the end of the week. They did not. I had to call back the next week and check in. They did not find it so they let me know I could file a claim to get reimbursed for these pants (they were a couple hundred dollars). I heard back from the claims department about a week later letting me know there was no missing item, it says in their system it was in my pickup. I responded that same day letting them know it was not in the pickup, I checked everywhere, retraced my steps, etc, and they haven't responded. This was almost a month ago. I've followed up 3 times since. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.
After years of using this dry cleaner I was shocked to arrive and discover they were out of business. They have my email and phone number. No call. No notification that they were closing. I was able to pick up my clothes miles away at a different store. Completely unprofessional.
I rarely leave negative reviews, but my experience here has been incredibly frustrating. 1. I left a pair of linen pants for cleaning that were returned ripped and ruined. Their solution? Either a store credit or a small payment they claimed reflected the “fair value” after wear and tear — as if that justifies destroying my clothes. 2. I also dropped off a shirt that had a small stain, which they somehow managed to make worse. It was sent back twice to be “fixed,” and now it’s completely missing. 3. The employees have no sense of urgency. Reaching management is only possible through email, and responses take ages. Over two weeks ago, they offered a store credit for the ruined pants, which I accepted, but it still hasn’t been added to my account. At this point I don’t know what I’d do with store credit in a place that’s ruined two key items from my wardrobe. Between the poor service, damaged items, and lack of accountability, I’d strongly suggest taking your business elsewhere.
2 stars because staff is very friendly. Unfortunately service provided is poor. Garments frequently took 3+ business days to launder and on multiple occasions returned with weird sticky spots, some sort of adhesive substance on them. The first time they took the jacket back to clean it which I appreciated, but now on a second instance it happened again. Not worth the hassle so I’ll go elsewhere.
Their work is good. I have no complaints about the cleaning services. The only thing I would say they need to work on is their customer service. When you walk in you almost feel like you're intruding on their time.
I have used Tide Cleaners for over 2 years. They send me sale emails frequently. They do NOT honor them when you take your clothes in. I have had to fight every time to get the sale price so I have decided not to use them anymore. Too much hassle.
Does a great job with all types of laundry, from wash and fold to delicate dry cleaning. Always on time. Stay on top of the app for coupons. Friendly service.
I arrived yesterday to pick up a jacket I dropped off last week. At the time of drop off I pointed out a stain on the jacket, the clerk marked the spot with red tape. When I went to pick up, Patricia, was unable to find me by name or phone …
They dry cleaned 6 times on 8/9/23 and 4 had a sorry we couldn’t clean tag on them. They were told the sleeves had spots on then from my husband using a wheelchair… they did not get them clean at all or offer a discount… they made me pay …
I initially had a frustrating experience with a missing 30% off coupon, but Tide Cleaners went above and beyond to resolve the issue. Their customer service team promptly reached out, apologized, and made things right with a credit for my …
I’ve been using Tide Cleaners for 5 years and my clothing have been in great quality. They clean and return to me in prompt time. Highly recommend and they do pick up at locations across the city. I usually will drop off since I want to get my cloths dry cleaned quickly. But the option for them to pick up is a great option.
I use the University st and the 38th ave locations back and forth, but once a week, for a couple years now. The people at both locations are amazing! They are so nice, very helpful, and deserve a raise!!... …
DO NOT GO TO THIS BUSINESS!!! They ruin your clothes, never respond when they commit to calls, adjustments or delivery dates. They ruined a brand new pair of my Wife’s suede pants, promised to re clean, failed to get them back to us by the …
Will never go back! Was grossly overcharged for basic services... 200$ for 12 pieces (shirts and pants) terrible experience! Avoid! No, "feeling" and actually doing market research are 2 different things. Ultimately, charge however much you …
Tide Cleaners offers excellent service at a very reasonable price particularly for wash and press shirts. Staff is very friendly and items are always on time. The one criticism I have is that their corporate app is terrible, but this is obviously not the store fault.
The young person behind the counter was there when I dropped my items and when I retrieved them. She was super delightful and pleasant. I will go back simply because she was lovely. My shirts were wonderful laundered as well.
