I called the evening of Tuesday, July 1st and asked if it were possible to have a dress hemmed 1 inch by the following Thursday. The young lady told me that shouldn't be a problem. So I made it in time to drop my dress off before they closed. She said the seamstress picks up clothes on Tuesdays and Thursdays and that my dress would be picked up on Thursday. I also wanted it pressed so she said it should be returned by the following Tuesday, pressed, and ready for pick up on Wednesday. Tuesday, July 8th I call the store FOUR TIMES and not once did I get an answer. The first 2 calls were an hour and a half before closing and the last two were at 5 pm and 5:30 pm. This morning, Wednesday July 9th, I had to call twice before getting an answer. I was told that the seamstress was supposed to pick up my dress yesterday, but her and the owner were fighting so that didn't happen and NOTHING had been done to my dress. Why would my dress be picked up ONE WEEK after I dropped it off? A few hours later, another woman calls me to tell me the seamstress quit yesterday and that my dress had not been touched. Again, my dress was there for a full week. I tell them I'll just pick it up because I need it this weekend. I would've given 2 because everyone in the situation was nice. But when I went to pick up my dress, it was hanging over the side of a desk, as if someone had just got home from a long day of work and threw their coat on the couch. It was not hanging from a hanger, IT WASN'T EVEN IN A BAG, it was just slung over the desk, with another dress slung over on top of it. A cleaners should care about clothes enough to at least hang and bag them. But nope, they didn't care about my dress at all. And since nobody thought to call me and tell me the work couldn't be done in a timely manner, I have to try to hem the dress myself before Friday. I wouldn't recommend this place to my dog.

I forgot to pickup my clothes for the wedding this 4th July weekend. I contacted the owner Matt on Facebook and he was so gracious and kind enough to meet me so I could get my clothes. I offered to pay him for the time and effort. He refused. This is a great example of excellent customer service. I really appreciate what he did for me. Thanks Matt for going the extra mile. You are the best! Lakeland Cleaners is the best and the employees are very friendly and professional.

You have got to be kidding!! I just paid $107.00 for 11 shirts to be dry cleaned. Have never heard of $10.00 shirt cleaning. Half were golf shirts. I just moved here and will never go back!!! I can not believe this.

Called at 8:45am on a Friday and asked if I dropped off today if I could pick up Monday. They said "hang on I'll ask.... bring it now and I can get you done before 3pm." Awesome!

I dropped off two pieces of clothing on today. I dropped off a denim romper and a denim chambray shirt. They charged me $27 for two items and said the shirt had to be classified as a jacket based on the material. Make sure you are quoted pricing before you drop your items off because that’s ridiculous. They definitely wont get my business again.

First time going to this cleaners and it will be my last. Took 9 pieces, they returned 8. They finally find the ninth piece and proceeded to charge me $81.93 for nine pieces! Simple 4 short sleeve shirts and 5 pants. I asked why it cost $9 for each piece and was told each piece is different. I then asked for an itemized list to show the price for each piece and was told - we don’t have that. I then asked for a screen print on how she charged my items and was told “we can’t do that”. I asked for a price list and for the third time was told “we don’t have one.” So it appears that they can just charge whatever they want. Avoid this place unless you don’t mind being arbitrarily charged. $9 each for pants and shirts is ridiculous!

Good times don't last but good people and good businesses do. This cleaners is a perfect example of that sentiment. It has been here for years (for a reason). All cleaning is done on site an I have never had a problem. They just simply do what a great cleaner does and they do it well. I'm not sure of their pricing, I've never asked about pricing...I was raised that if you had to ask how much something costs? You can't afford it. The staff is always accommodating and I enjoy joking with them, example: I say, "I see spots, will I see spots when I pick these up?" The standard response is, "no sir, you won't see spots anymore." 🤣

I used this dry cleaner for the first time this week. The quality of the service and the employees were very nice. I have no issue with any of that. My problem is this...When I dropped off my dry cleaning I asked the young lady who assisted me the price for cleaning and ironing per shirt. She quoted me $3.19 per shirt. I left 20 shirts. I estimated about $65 for the cleaning, plus another $6-7 for tax, so, worst case, I'm thinking $75....My total was $93.19...I asked the young man who assisted me today about this and all he could give me was, "This is a lot of dry cleaning.". Anyway, I'll be generous and take out $10 for sales tax, leaving the price for the cleaning at $83, that's $4 and change per shirt. If you go here and ask about pricing, you better get it in writing because what you're quoted and what you're actually charged could be two very different amounts. At these prices, I won't be going back here.
