Sherwood Laundry

I haven't been here in years. It used to look run down and neglected. Still went even though the place looked horrible. It's since been renovated and looks fantastic now. Many of the old machines have been replaced with newer models. The dryers are all still the same but they still seem to work good. Plenty of tables for folding laundry. The restroom (mens room at least) has been completely redone. It always smells good in there now. They also have an arcade game machine that has lots of games on it to keep you entertained while your laundry is going. The place overall looks great now.

Holy damn is this the best laundromat in Troy. Several weeks ago I crossed the Midwest Rubicon and crawled my way from incredibly boring Englewood Ohio to the somewhat less boring Troy Ohio and my clothes were a mess. Awful. Dusty and disgusting. Since my value is in my words and never my wallet I was dismayed when I visited several local laundromats to find them charging me $5.25 PER WASH. PER WASH. IN A MACHINE DESIGNED FOR GNOMES. GNOME CLOTHES! Since I didn't want to pay $45 dollars to wash 4 pairs of socks and (1) Jean, I kept looking around town for something better and lo' I beheld a vision. Sherwood laundry has all the best things. There are more machines here than grains of sand on the planet. THE WHEELS OF THE CARTS DON'T SQUEEK. Quality! $2.50 for MANY of their washing machines and with enough space for a FAMILY of gnomes! GNOME FAMILY! Well December, you say to me, I am sold. This is a wonderful place. I will wash my clothes here, get married here and potentially elope here if no one is paying much attention. But what if I told you there is more?! Feast your eyes on...this! (I'm not sure where google is gonna put the image so imagine it is under this sentence :D ) That's right baby. An old school arcade machine preloaded with a billion classics and a working hi-scoreboard. I knew I hit gold when after 5 minutes my wrist was killing me from slamming the button down during a Galaxian marathon. Go here. Do your laundry. Try and beat my scores and live life, man. 10/10 would laundry again.

I absolutely love going here to do my laundry I go on the day of the outreach and do my laundry for free the people in charge of that are very friendly and nice and outgoing all the time.

I grew up in that place. My mom and 5 kids were there all day and Larry was amazing and patient with us. I've been out of state for a very long time. I recently went back and I was thrown back in time. The upgrades are fantastic. Highly recommended

Absolutely fn disgusting!!!! Damn near every washer is growing mold, the entire place stinks, trash is everywhere. The prices is the only thing this place has going for it. Extremely outdated machines, in dire need of a remodel, and the bathroom just needs set on fire. Bulldoze the place and start over….will NOTbe returning.

The new owners are absolutely amazing. I see some reviews on here talking about mold and trash everywhere, and that is not the case anymore. They've done a lot of improvements. The store is clean and the prices are cheap. Would definitely recommend

Vastly improved from previous ownership. They made a lot of improvements and still kept the prices low. It used to be so filthy and nasty that I stopped coming here and drove 20 minutes away to do my laundry. I'm back and fully appreciate their hard work.

This was my second time since new management took over, and I am so impressed. They have done a beautiful job at fixing the laundromat up. I don't mind going there now. AWESOME! AWESOME!! AWESOME!!!!

I travel 4 to 5 weeks at a time and I will let my laundry pile up so I can bring it here. Very clean and my clothes get very clean and dry fast. It's nice to know you can still come home to the nice business here. Great people.
