I picked up my daughters comforter after dropping it off yesterday. First and foremost there’s a sign that says $11.99 for comforters/spreads. The man proceeded to write $19.99 on my ticket and then when I asked why it wasn’t $11.99 he just said no. That should’ve been my que to leave right away. But my daughter needed her comforter clean. So I came back today and picked it up. Once I got it home, I could see hair and stains on it that were not there before. Never in my life will I pay $20 for someone to rip me off. Please see the pictures so you can judge for yourself.
I was searching for a new cleaners that does alterations, and I found City Laundry. I gave them my Calvin Klein burgundy dress shirt and gray Alfani pants on the 15th of October. After paying for my alterations, they told me I could pick up my clothes on Thursday. I told them I work and would be there to pick them up on the 21st, they said that would be fine. I paid a total of $22 for the alterations. When I came to pick up my clothes, they seemed to have misplaced my order. I waited patiently until another lady came in and complained that they had lost her son's dress shirt a day prior. I told her my situation was similar. A customer they were comfortable with came from the back and told me "they were none for this, and that's why you should come pick up your order and the day they told you", which leads me to believe they STEAL PEOPLE'S CLOTHES! ROBBING THE COMMUNITY! The owner is an old man who doesn't take accountability for anything and refuses to give my money back and Reimburse me for my clothes and alterations. He insulted me, saying that my Calvin Klein shirt from MEN'S WEARHOUSE is CHEAP and worth $20 and says he WONT PAY THE FULL VALUE OF MY CLOTHES BACK BECAUSE THERE USED (-_- . My Calvin Klein costs $63.59 and is currently still on the website Mens Wearhouse website, my Alfani pants were $40 on discount from Macy's. Instead of tending to me, he was VERY disrespectful and told me to go to court about it. DO NOT TAKE YOUR CLOTHES HERE UNLESS YOU'RE DONATING, BECAUSE YOU WILL NOT GET THEM BACK.
My immediate family stopped going here years ago. When someone starts a business where YOU live and not where they live it's easier to tell who cares for the community and who doesn't. They've struck again...and while my associate was having a dispute a woman walked in with the EXACT same problem. Do NOT USE THEIR SERVICES. FOR ANY REASON! And if you know ANY other businesses tied to these crooks, let us know!.
It’s really 0 stars they “lost” my clothes that I gave them and told me they won’t refund me and I have to buy new clothes . I bought those with my hard working money and I recommend no one comes to this place unless they want their clothes to be lost and to purchase new clothes this place is a complete dump DO NOT COME HERE
Do not take your clothes here they are horrible people and liars. Very unprofessional. I wish i could give them 0 star…. The guy was lying right in front of my face . Again don’t take your clothes here very bad service.
Horrible, almost spent as much drying as I did washing, the washers didn't clean some of my clothes and I used bigger machines than necessary, never have I been somewhere where the drying was 25cents for only 5 min of dry time, and the dryers are set so low that after 30 min of drying they are still wet, dont waste your money here! Wont be back.
Lost my brothers clothes!!! And refused to pay me for them or refund me. Terrible terrible service
Don’t ever go here! They are horrible.
They try their best to please customer good work and decent price
