I would love to give this place a 5-star review, but I just cannot. This is due to the fact that the coin machine was out, and the bottoms of the machine were dusty and had a couple of flies. Now, it is still the best laundromat in town as far as machines go. The coolest thing to me is the nostalgia in that this place was the first to have a Maytag machine. Many may know that Maytag used to have their factory in Newton before they moved it out of the country to Mexico. This town thrived when it was here. Thank goodness for the speedway. Anyways, there are plenty of machines and large loads as well. The counters are plenty and clean. There are vending machines for snacks and drinks as well as being conveniently located next to the best Domino's pizza. The laundry carts seem new, and there's a TV to watch and even a magazine rack for your entertainment while waiting. Cool.
Did what I needed. Thanks for being you. You get 5 stars just for your replies to the reviews. Made me laugh quite a bit.
Seems Decent. It’s your typical laundromat but it’s clean and the equipment seems decent. I travel all over the country for work and I’ve definitely seen much much worse.
At least two of the dryers don't work properly and the only way to get a refund is to wait to have it mailed to you. It's 2024, this is ridiculous. If you're going to run a Laundromat, make sure the machines actually WORK.
Machines don't work and nobody to call ? They expect you to rely on them to be honest and mail your refund? Just leave a note? Hmmm I'm not using this business again...
On the pricey side and sucks that the card reader makes u pay 15$ each swip and then will give u ur $ back that wasn't needed but very clean and washers work nice didn't use the dryers
Okay place to wash for 6$ for the med washer. Went to dry on 15 but it was very damp ,went to use 16 and still same problem. 1st time usage was OK till the dryers. I'm Finishing up at Colfax laundromat now. (They have very good dryers btw)
Went to wash comforters. Clean and plenty of machines. The large front loaders are pretty expensive, the smallest is over $5. Regular washers less expensive. Some machines now take credit/debit cards.
Convenient place to do laundry. Several washer and dryers .They are up dated for credit card use or coin.washing products available soap ,fabric softner.vending machines for soda and snacks.Bathrooms are onsite.
It does smell of mildew, expensive too. I will drive to des moines this weekend instead of coming here. Probably cost me the same with the fuel but at least i can find better machines and get a free road trip out if it. Also, after reading others reviews: Hey Owner, sounds like you need to get off your high horse. You just put down customers instead of addressing their issues like a professional. Grow up.
